PLAnet: the Philip Lawrence Awards Network celebrates the positive difference that young people are making in their communities all over the country. We designed the invites, awards trophy, programme and certificates for the annual awards ceremony that we attended at BAFTA on Piccadilly.
We were invited by Jamie Oliver to a ‘thank you’ evening for everyone involved in the refresh project for Fifteen London. Fizz, beer, fabulous food and a chance to chat to the man himself. He was utterly delightful and extremely complimentary about our design work. Top bloke. Top night.
A big Super-fan-tache-stic thank you to everyone who supported us throughout Movember. We raised £625 for the prostate cancer research charity – and a couple of raised eyebrows when Mark and James turned up at meetings.
This year, Fifteen’s Christmas card was designed by Superfantastic. It’s a Christmas Pudding recipe, provided by our client Ange’s mum – ahh. It’s been packaged with muslin and ribbon to make the perfect Christmas pudding. It’s available at Fifteen London, Recipease or at Fifteen online Fifteenshop.net and all the profits go to the Jamie Oliver Foundation.
The Jamie Oliver charity event opened it’s doors last night, with our design work displayed across the venue. A mix of over 300 supporters from celebrities, to business gurus to mere mortals like us attended the spectacular event at St Paul’s Cathedral. It was stonking – as was Alex James’s Blue Monday cheese.
Our friends at PLUS hostels spent a day with us scouring the streets of Hoxton, Shoreditch and Carnaby Street for inspirational design pieces and good tone of voice items to help in the planning of their new magazine. We let more inspiration flow over tequila and tortillas at the end of the day.
Here at Superfan-tache-stic, we are joining the growing club of modern gentlemen who believe in the virtues of fine moustachery, immaculate grooming and growing a moustache for Movember.
Movember is about raising funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. One man dies every hour from the disease in the UK. The more people we get on board, the more lives we can impact. The boys are growing a moustache as our Mo Bro’s and the girls are supporting them along the way as their Mo Sista’s.
