Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us at Superfantastic!
International bestselling author Nick Hornby’s new book ‘Stuff I’ve Been Reading’ gives a rich and witty insight into his most favourite and enjoyable reads. With a collection of his columns from the Believer magazine, this wonderfully entertaining journey in reading differs from all other reviews as it takes into account the role that books actually play in our lives.
To showcase this captivating collection, we wanted to give a sense of looking in to his library, so we designed a die-cut front cover to reveal elements of the text within. Pick up this classic Hornby now at www.penguin.co.uk
We’re all feeling spooky here at SF HQ. Whether you are a ghoulish ghost, creepy clown or a fantastic frankenstein we hope you have a super Halloween!
Imagine the heat in the kitchen when we were asked to design Jamie Oliver’s brand new cookbook, Save with Jamie, which hits the shelves on 29 August, published by Michael Joseph at Penguin Random House.
From mood boards and brainstorming sessions with Jamie at Superfantastic HQ, to setting up a pop-up design studio on location at the shoot, we’ve been involved in every step of creating this beautiful book. Working closely with Jamie and his team, we’ve been picture editing, creating hand-drawn illustrations, taking in copy amends and most importantly, ensuring that the message of the book is conveyed in a really simple, useful, easy to understand way (plus we got to sample loads of amazing food!).
Save with Jamie is all about shopping smartly, cooking cleverly and wasting less. It draws on cooking skills to help us make better choices, buy more economically, get the most out of ingredients, embrace leftovers, save time and prevent food waste. In true Jamie style it’s full of big flavours, colourful dishes and lots of lovely comfort food to make us all happy. It’s time to get kitchen smart, so pick up a copy now. We can’t wait to get cooking!
A short film we’ve made for our friends at Extract Coffee Roasters. See them in action at this year’s London Coffee Festival. Thank you to Matt Verity for filming and editing and to We The Dead for their awesome track.
We were given the exciting challenge of creating labels for these delicious wines that have been delighting diners in Jamie’s Italian restaurants for several seasons. Fun, lively, crisp, punchy and crammed with flavour were just some of the characteristics that we brought to life on the bottle. Grown on the sunny slopes of Sicily by a local wine collective founded more than 50 years ago, the wines are wonderfully versatile and extremely easy drinking. Keep an eye out in your local Tesco store and grab a bottle or two to enjoy at home.
The original Jamie’s Italian in Oxford has just turned 5-years old. To celebrate, they’ve got a beautiful birthday menu that includes some of Jamie’s delicious classic dishes and current tasty favourites – all priced at £5. We were thrilled to design the menu for this special occasion. Click here to check it out.

Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen London restaurant celebrated its 10th birthday last year, and the doors have just reopened after a complete refurbishment. New Executive Chef Jon Rotherham is now heading things up in the kitchen and delivering contemporary comfort food using the best British ingredients, as well as inspiring and nurturing each year’s intake of apprentices. With an exciting new menu and a beautiful new interior, the branding needed a refresh too. We were delighted to create a cleaner, more modern logo, the feel of which carries through into the sleek and simple menu and website designs. Fifteen is back on the map and not to be missed. Book now before everyone hears about it.
The master of the modern spy novel returns and brings us his thrilling new novel, A Delicate Truth. John le Carré, author of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, captures themes of disastrous conspiracy, despairing love, corrupt politics and delivers a brilliant climax. We’re delighted that Superfantastic designed the cover, available now from www.penguin.co.uk
