On The Grid

On The Grid

We’ve recently joined a number of selected creative companies and designers from around the world in curating city guides for ‘On The Grid’, where you travel the world through the eyes of creatives. It’s a fabulous guide that shares neighbourhood hidden gems with the rest of the world.

It was great fun exploring the wonderful neighbourhood of Bermondsey and curating our favourite finds. We’re delighted to share with you quirky shops, unusual galleries, individual coffee shops and foodie heaven in the fabulous restaurants. Check out our faves here at www.onthegrid.city

Jamie’s Everyday Super Food

Jamie’s brand new cookbook, Everyday Super Food – Recipes for a Healthier, Happier You, does exactly what it says on the tin. It’s packed with delicious, exciting recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as ideas for snacks and drinks, all of which are super-nutritious. Alongside the recipes Jamie’s shared loads of bite-sized nutritional tips, and given more in-depth info on subjects such as the balanced plate, sleep, alcohol, and much, much more.

Jamie’s brief on the design front was to keep things fresh, simple and super-clear, in order to reflect the accessibility and ease of the recipes. With Jamie’s own stunning food photography to work with, it was an absolute pleasure for us to design. Published by Michael Joseph at Penguin Random House, it’s available to buy here

Cycle training for everyone

Cycle training for everyone

Bikeability is the national standard for cycle training for both children and adults supported by the Department for Transport and predominantly delivered through schools, local authorities or independent training instructors. There are three Bikeability levels, each designed to improve cycling skills starting from basics of balance and control through to making independent journeys on busier roads.

In line with a refresh of the Bikeability awards materials, handbooks and branding last year, we were asked to refresh the Bikeability website. Part of this refresh also included a photoshoot in different locations around the UK capturing the spirit and diversity of the cycle training taking place.

To date over an impressive 1.6 million cyclists have gained cycle training through Bikeability and the number keeps growing. Truly cycle training for everyone!

The Great Home Hack

The Great Home Hack

Brancott Estate is celebrating 40 years since it singlehandedly pioneered the original Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, by launching the UK’s first home hack event. We helped them to create a bold identity encompassing everything the event is about; craft, D.I.Y, materials but not forgetting the wine!

The Great Home Hack will make its debut at Fulham Palace on March 14-15 and will feature new and original works from leading designers, artists and creators within the world of up cycling. Curated by Channel 4’s Max McMurdo, the weekend will include workshops in home hacking and upcycling, live demonstrations and of course, tastings of Brancott Estate’s award winning wines.
