Camino’s adventure ['camino' translates to English as 'journey'] started in 1984, when founder and managing director Richard Bigg drove across Spain from North to South, in the blazing heat, in his tiny black Mini. What he discovered; the landscapes, the people, the lifestyle and most importantly the food and drink, made an everlasting impression and created the burning need to recreate a piece of España back home in London. Since then, Richard has been back to Spain over 100 times, and in 2007 opened the first Camino in London. Today there are four restaurants and two bars all serving fantastic tapas and the best wines, sherries and cavas from across all of Spain.
The adventure continues with the launch of their new website, designed and developed by Superfantastic. Thank you to Camino for taking us with you on your journey, and here’s to exciting times on the road ahead.
