With the wintry weather upon us, we are feeling Halloweeny at SF HQ. Whether you are a ghoul, goblin or ghost, we hope you have a super spooky Halloween!
Check out our montage of menus for Jamie’s Italian restaurants. The back of each menu has been individually designed to work with the restaurant’s location, architecture or interiors. Whether it’s the beautiful marble flooring at Kings Street, Manchester, the 1940′s bather-inspired pattern in Brighton, or the domed roof of the Old Library in Cambridge, each one adds to the welcoming, neighbourhood feel of these fabulous restaurants.
Wow – we’ve been on a fab journey for this one. It all started with workshops in May, focus groups in June, a Berlin and Prague shoot in July and then we spent August in creative overdrive. A true labour of love – hope you agree – this one’s special.

To celebrate 10 years of Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen and the Fifteen Apprentice Programme, Jamie and the nice guys at John Lewis, Oxford Street collaborated to bring a taste of Fifteen to the John Lewis Bistro. For one week the Bistro was transformed in to a mini Fifteen restaurant. A special menu was created with recommended wines and the interiors were given a Fifteen look and feel.
Taking the design style we’ve used in Fifteen, we created menus, a hanging canvas, wallpaper for the central pillar and signage for the Bistro. The result: a Fifteen experience in John Lewis.
Jamie Oliver presents The Big Night Out is an annual fundraiser in aid of the Fifteen Apprentice Programme, a project which uses the magic of food to give young unemployed people a chance to have a better future.
Nurturing and developing new talent is what this scheme does best, and they want to keep doing it for more young people every year. This year they’re celebrating their 10th anniversary and the event takes place at Old Billingsgate on 15th November 2012. Tickets are now available from jamieoliver.com. What an honour to be involved in the identity, and the website design and build, for this great cause.
So go on, have a Big Night Out!
