Brief

To develop an identity and supporting branding for a range of seasonal house made products with ingredients sourced from indigenous British flora with a history of use in medicinal and wellbeing remedies. To create a sub brand that works in harmony with both the agua spa hero brand and the Sea Containers London master brand.

Concept

The product range is blended onsite, using a range of techniques drawn from herbalism and aromatherapy and delivered through the medium of massage. The ingredients used give the product line a point of authentic difference, which needed to shine through in the creative.

Narrative

The visual and verbal narrative needed to reinforce the key messages of British, Design, Community, Education, Seasonal, Sustainable and Urban, that make up the Hedgerow by agua story.

Creative

To craft a distinctive and characterful logo which has a bold, modern and intelligent approach and reflects the inherently beautiful, intriguing and natural bond to the treatments and ingredients.

To reflect the purity of the ingredients, link to nature and connection with the hero and master brand through vibrant colours found in British hedgerows.

To develop a brand stamp with debossing to reinforce the principles of crafted and handmade treatments.

Outcome

Roll out of the Hedgerow by agua identity to all touchpoints: in the spa, on packaging, on the website, on social. We embedded the brand into the whole hotel experience. We delivered brand and tone of voice guidelines to provide meaning, credibility and consistency to all expressions of the brand and we also created a suite of illustrations to represent the botanical plants used in the products together with compositions of collages for more branded illustrations.
